Acorazado británico, botado en 1906, que estableció el modelo para los buques de guerra que dominaron las marinas del mundo durante los siguientes 35 años.

Estaba equipado exclusivamente con cañones grandes, porque las recientes mejoras en artillería naval habían hecho innecesario estar preparado para combate a corta distancia. Propulsado por turbinas de vapor, en vez de los motores de vapor a pistón comunes en la época, navegaba a una velocidad récord de 21 nudos. Desplazaba 16.300 Tm (18.000 t), tenía un largo de 160 m (526 pies) y llevaba una tripulación de alrededor de 800 personas. Al llegar la primera guerra mundial ya había sido superado por los "superdreadnoughts, más veloces y que llevaban cañones más grandes. Fue puesto en la reserva en 1919, y desguazado en 1923.
